BUFFALO, NY – Orchard Park town and chamber officials were on site yesterday, June 22, 2016, for a ceremonial ribbon cutting at Buffalo Cigars. The ceremony was to celebrate the recent opening of the shop, located at 2911 Southwestern Blvd in Orchard Park.
Buffalo Cigars was also presented the 2016 Business Community Beautification Award during the event. This award is given to an Orchard Park business who contributes to the enhancement of the local community. The award was given on behalf of the Board of Directors of the Orchard Park Chamber of Commerce.
Buffalo Cigars received a plaque in honor of the award, given to Buffalo Cigar’s owners, Paul Eusanio and Glen Smith. The award was presented by Orchard Park Town Supervisor Patrick Keem. Donald Lorentz, Executive Director of the Orchard Park Chamber, and Colleen Baker, Associate Director of the Orchard Park Chamber, were also in attendance.
A representative from Bee Group Newspapers was on site to take pictures.
“It is very rewarding for our store to get this award,” said Smith. “Paul and I have long talked about opening a place where people can simply relax and enjoy what became our own favorite pastime as friends. When we conceived the idea of a cigar store, we were concerned about how it would be viewed in the community. But after a highly successful first couple of months and the widespread accolades we received, we are extremely happy that we made the choice to invest in our home town of Orchard Park.”
Buffalo Cigars officially opened its doors to the public in April 2016 with a public grand opening celebration. The cigar shop features more than 2,500 square feet of retail space, including the area’s largest walk-in humidor and more than 1,500 cigar, pipe, hookah and other tobacco product types and tens of thousands of cigars, including their exclusive line of Thurman Thomas Cigars. It also features plush, comfortable seating, large screen TV’s, and music for customers to relax and enjoy. Additional information can be found at www.BuffaloCigars.com.
