BUFFALO, NY – Buffalo Cigars hosted its first ever Cigars for Warriors donation event on Aug. 24, held in conjunction with an area-exclusive Meet & Greet with cigar manufacturer David Blanco. Generous customers donated 91 cigars and $103 to the charity. Buffalo Cigars proudly became an official Cigars for Warriors donation site in August 2017.
Cigars for Warriors is an IRS approved 501 (c)(3) charity that sends cigar care packages to United States combat troops. Premium cigars are the #1 requested item from deployed service members. Photos of troops enjoying their stogies can be found on the Cigars for Warriors website and Facebook page.
“We call those photos from the troops stogie smiles, and they really motivate us to keep working hard to serve our deployed service members who sacrifice so much for us,” said Cigars for Warriors Director of Operations, Robert Allan.
Cigars for Warriors will be in attendance at the upcoming Buffalo Cigar & Music Festival, held on Sept. 23 at the Wings Meeting Place in Orchard Park. The event will feature cigar manufacturers from all over the country, cigar workshops, live music, a pig roast and exclusive Meet & Greets with special guests. Tickets and more information about the event can be found online at www.BuffaloCigarFest.com.
Buffalo Cigars will continue accepting cigar and monetary donations to Cigars for Warriors at its Orchard Park location. Cigar donations and care packages are sent to combat troops on a monthly basis. For more information about the organization, please visit CigarsForWarriors.org.
